Please join us on Friday, April 26, 2019, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM for the 3rd Annual Tour de Ren!
Tour de Ren is a high energy, outdoor spin cycle event held at the corner of Central Avenue and Washington in downtown Phoenix benefitting Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The event is hosted by the owners of Renaissance Square, Oaktree Capital and Cypress Office Properties. Bike sponsorships are available for a $1,000 donation per bike. Gather a team of colleagues, friends, or family and spend a few hours taking turns on the spin bike with a live DJ and spin instructor, all benefitting Phoenix Children's Hospital!
Tour de Ren is an interactive and fun event with live music, snacks, t-shirts, giveaways and, of course, a presentation of the donation check to our special friends at PCH! No spinning or cycling experience is necessary.
This year we honor Morgan Kelly Schnorr. On July 11, 2018, Tom and Rhianna received the news that their 3 year-old daughter, Morgan, had liver cancer (hepatoblastoma). Six days later, Mighty Morgan spent her 4th birthday at Phoenix Children’s Hospital with a fever scare, and she received her first round of chemotherapy. Over the next six months they would spend countless days, nights, and weeks there going through chemo, blood transfusions, and doing all they needed to do for Morgan.
Despite the challenges, Morgan prospered through treatment at PCH. During one visit, she had a brush with Typhlitis that put her in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. During another ten day visit to PCH they had to treat a staph infection in Morgan’s blood. Ultimately, in January 2019, Morgan was flown out to Los Angeles where she received a whole liver transplant.
Sharing Mighty Morgan’s story will help raise much-needed awareness and funds to cure childhood cancers.
