Our son, Sammy, was diagnosed two years ago with a rare form of pediatric cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. Sadly, Sammy is one of many children who has been affected by cancer. PCH saved his life. That’s how many patients get a new diagnosis of cancer each year at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. That doesn’t include those already fighting the disease – the nearly 100 patients who receive chemotherapy and other treatment in our Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders every single day.
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. We want everyone to Step Up. Step In. Stop Cancer. for our sickest patients – those fighting for their very lives. With the help of our corporate partners, individual donors, and the public at large we can bring focus to pediatric cancer and provide the support our patients need and deserve.
