Being hospitalized over the holidays isn’t easy for a child. At Phoenix Children's Hospital we do everything we can to bring the holidays to our patients and families. It’s difficult for parents to leave, so we offer Toyland, a place where parents can pick out donated gifts for their children and have them wrapped by volunteers. We offer special activities during the holidays. And of course, we make sure that Santa knows to make a stop here on Christmas Eve.

You can also help in a very special way.

With a donation of $20 a month, or a one-time donation of $240 or more, a cuddly teddy bear will be hand-delivered to a hospitalized child in your name this holiday season.

Hugging a bear when a patient is poked and prodded, falling asleep with it in their arms, or seeing a procedure demonstrated first on their bear are all ways that our holiday teddy bears can make a bad day better.
