Making a Difference for Arizona's Children Issue 16 - July 2010
The government funding Phoenix Children’s receives helps us offer unique programs that are unmatched anywhere in Arizona.
By voting in this year's primary election, you can elect candidates who will protect funding for the things that matter most, like children’s healthcare.
Need another reason to vote? See a special message from our patient Spencer.
This month we offer several ways to find out how the candidates stand on the issues - especially children's healthcare - so you can make an informed decision when you vote.
For more information leading up to the Aug. 24 primary election, election information and resources, please follow the Parent Action Committee on
Facebook and Twitter.
Important Election Dates

Primary election day: August 24, 2010
Check your polling place before you go. Most of the counties have a polling place locator on their website. Again, here is Maricopa County's polling place locator as an example. Bring your drivers’ license or another form of identification to get your ballot.
You can access information about the candidates from their websites, directly contact them, and watch your mailbox for information from the candidates and the groups that support them. A few resources to help:
Thank you for all of your help as we work together to speak up every day for Arizona's children!
