ACES & BASES PROVIDES A LAS VEGAS ENVIRONMENT WHILE RAISING MONEY FOR PHOENIX CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

6th Annual Spring Training Charity Poker Tournament & Casino Night

 

(SCOTTSDALE, AZ – February 27, 2012) – Poker celebrities Robert Williamson III, Tiffany Michelle, and Tom Schneider to headline the 2012 Aces and Bases.  The Dream Dealers are producing the 6th Annual Aces & Bases, a spring training charity poker tournament and casino night at the DC Ranch Homestead Community Center on Sunday March, 11, 2012. Guests will sit side by side and go head to head with professional poker players, active and retired athletes, celebrities, and others at this charity fundraiser.  Past guests and hosts have included Barry Bonds (SF Giants); Rapper Marvin “Young MC” Young; Jeremy Roenick (NHL Hall of Fame Inductee), Reggie Sanders (From the World Series Champions Diamondback Team and Fox Sports); and many more.

Aces & Bases VIP guests look forward to playing cards with our poker celebrities. Professional poker player and host Robert Williamson III has cashed more than 20 times in World Series of Poker Events and produces a jewelry line of poker pieces.  Tom Schneider is the 2007 World Series of Poker, Player of the Year.  Tiffany Michelle is an actress, singer and poker player.  She was a host for PokerNews.com; a competitor on The Amazing Race; Currently the highest rank of any woman in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker (17th place in 2008); and currently on the Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America where she is competing against seven other "recruits" trying to transform into skilled cooks.

At the Spring Training Poker Tournament, athletic ability, salary, signing bonus, teammates and championship rings are irrelevant when playing cards with (and against) these stars at the gaming tables. All guests will receive gaming chip vouchers to play blackjack, craps, and roulette in this casino environment. At the end of the night, guests will exchange their chips for raffle tickets. The raffle prizes will include vacations, televisions, jewelry, gift cards and more!

Advanced VIP Tickets are $100 each ($120 after March 1, 2012) and every VIP is invited to a Meet and Greet Happy Hour with the celebrities; dinner buffet, drink tickets, a voucher to play the casino games and a reserved seat in the Texas Hold’em poker tournament. (No Cost)  The grand prize will be a $1,500 entry into the 2012 World Series of Poker!  Other possible prizes include vacations, televisions, golf outings, restaurant gift cards, sunglasses, autographed memorabilia, and more!

Advanced General Admission Tickets are $40 each ($50 after March 1, 2012) and include food, drink tickets, and a voucher to play the casino games.  Sponsorship opportunities are also available!

The 6th Annual Aces & Bases will take place on Sunday March 11, 2012 and the schedule will be as follows:

5:30 PM           Charity Poker Tournament Begins

7:00 PM           Casino Games Open

10:00 PM         Exchange Casino Chips for Raffle Tickets

10:30 PM         Raffle Drawings

 

100% of the profits from this event will be donated to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital: Emily Center.
