Class Description:

The BLS Healthcare Provider Course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages (including doing ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen); use of an automated external defibrillator (AED); and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). It's intended for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital. For certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals.

7:45am check-in time is HIGHLY encouraged

A Current American Heart Association BLS manual. Per AHA, all students must have a current AHA course textbook for their individual use before, during, and after the course. Students are expected to review the textbook before class and have immediate access to their own copies afterwards as a reference and review tool. Textbooks are designed for use and are a integral part of healthcare education. It is important to have a current version of the manual. They can be purchased from Clinical education for $12 (exact cash or personal check) or online from Worldpoint.
